Sunshine Coast (in Spanish: Sunny Costa) is an Australian urban area located in the southeast of Queensland, north of Brisbane and Gold Coast, state capital, in the Pacific Ocean. Despite not having a central business district, It ranks as the ninth largest largest metropolis in Australia and the third of Queensland. It is very similar to Gold Coast but quiet little town with spectacular beaches. According to the Census of Australia in 2011 the region recorded a population of 270.270 people.
The area was first settled by Europeans in the nineteenth century, expecting a development which was slowly progressing until tourism became a major industry. The area had several coastal areas in Caloundra, Governor, Maroochydore y Noosa Heads. Nambour and Maleny have been developed as major shopping centers in the area of influence.
It is a good place to come and study in Australia and especially if you want a place with fewer Spaniards and tranquility.
